I am a retail executive with a proven track record in consumer-centic merchandising and brand building.  I combine 30 years of practical experience with a clear understanding of the changing consumer, and the importance of technology, to solve today's on-going challenges.
Whether it is a niche brand, start-up or global retailer, I apply my Five Step Consumer-Centric Process for Growth to develop actionable roadmaps for success, centered on leveraging key differentiators and an intelligent use of resources.
Prior to founding my consulting practice, I managed a $2B P&L as the EVP / GMM for Women's Apparel at Nordstrom.  I served as a member of the Executive Team for 7 years,, and reported directly to Pete Nordstrom, President of Nordstrom, Inc.
Today, I work with a broad spectrum of CEO's, founders and investors generating concepts that combine a companie's core strengths with relevant industry opportunities.   The result is a focused set of prioriteis and enablers, and a realistic ser of goals that will drive revenue and profit.
When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my husband Sam and our three teenage children, exploring the world

Loretta and I worked together for years growing the Free People business. Loretta is a rare talent—she’s an exceptional merchant, but she’s also an accomplished businesswoman—she’s strategic, numerate, capable of managing scale and she’s a natural leader. I always looked forward to working the line with Loretta. She has an innate sense of trend, a “diving rod” of an eye for an item, beautiful taste and a genuine passion for the business. She’s also a truly nice person—she’s honest, constructive, direct and supportive.
